Updated!

R3: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff977062.aspx

Pulled this off of the Configuration Manager Team Blog at Microsoft…

…[Windows 7 SP1 and/or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1] it is NOT certified and therefore NOT SUPPORTED for Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 R2 or R3 yet by the Product Group. If you already use it in production , don’t expect Premier Support to help you .

Certification and support statements will take official 90 days after Release To Web ! “

So just like all other service packs and new releases, it takes time for Microsoft to certify products against the release. Do the smart thing and only roll this out in a lab environment until it’s ready for production!  From what I’ve been hearing, we shouldn’t expect any surprises from Windows 7 SP1; I haven’t heard anything about 2008 SP1 yet, stay tuned! (currently downloading both).
