If you are like me and user Operations Manager you probably have a console installed on your laptop (if not, at least avoid using the consoles on the management servers to minimize the overhead on them!). For processes to update Operations Manager there is either: Kevin Holman’s blog: http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2013/04/11/applying-update-rollup-2-ur2-to-opsmgr-2012-sp1.as...

SQL Reporting Services 2008 R2 Report Manager Authorization Failure

I ran into an interesting issue setting up SQL Reporting Services 2008 R2 using a host header, i.e. SSRS.MyCompany.com.   When I would attempt to access the SSRS Report Manager using http://ssrs.mycompany.com/reports, I would get a 401 Not Authorized Error.   I ended up having to make two registry changes in order to get it to load properly.   *** DISCLAIMER: I don't recommend that you ma...

Configuring the System Center 2012 SP1 VMM SQL Analysis Services Integration with Operations Manager 2012 SP1
